Just last weekend, Fourmaux competed in the Acropolis Rally in Greece, where he secured a third-place finish. It marked the French driver’s second podium since joining Hyundai.
After a single rest day following the Greek round, Fourmaux was back behind the wheel of the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 car on Wednesday morning in Central Finland.
Acropolis Rally winner Ott Tänak had already kicked off Hyundai’s two-day test programme in Jämsä on Monday, and on Tuesday, it was Fourmaux’s turn to attack the high-speed gravel and give the loose surface a proper beating.

In Jämsä Central Finland, Hyundai was preparing for the fast gravel rallies in Estonia and Finland. Rally Estonia takes place in just over two weeks, with Rally Finland following at the turn of July and August.
Fourmaux has proven to be a strong contender on high-speed gravel when things click. Last season, he finished third in both Finland and Poland, and claimed fourth place in Latvia.
After his successful outing in Greece, Fourmaux’s confidence received a much-needed boost following a pair of disappointing rallies.
“I’m really pleased that this is the stop of the superrally cycle we had a bit with Portugal and Sardinia. So it’s good to get a good result. We had some pressure from the team to deliver here, which we did. It was positive,” Fourmaux said after the Acropolis Rally.
