A total of 69 crews will take part in the rally. The top class will feature 12 Rally1 cars, while 37 crews will compete in Rally2 machinery.
Toyota is entering its full line-up for Greece, with all five of its drivers taking part. As previously reported, part-time Toyota driver Sébastien Ogier has confirmed his participation in the Acropolis Rally.
Toyota drivers will be opening the road in Greece, as Elfyn Evans currently leads the championship standings ahead of teammates Kalle Rovanperä and Ogier. The Japanese manufacturer’s Rally1 roster also includes Takamoto Katsuta and Sami Pajari.
Hyundai will field its usual trio of Ott Tänak, Thierry Neuville, and Adrien Fourmaux. M-Sport, meanwhile, will have four Ford Puma Rally1 entries, driven by Grégoire Munster, Josh McErlean, Martins Sesks, and Greek businessman Jourdan Serderidis.
The WRC2 field is also stacked with talent. All of the top title contenders – Yohan Rossel, Oliver Solberg, Gus Greensmith, and Jan Solans – are on the entry list.
Acropolis Rally Greece runs from 26–29 June. The rally will once again be based in the city of Lamia, with the opening stage on Thursday evening held in Athens. On Friday, stages will take place around the city of Loutraki.
Before the Greek round, the WRC will head to Sardinia next week for the championship’s next event.
