The WRC season continues after Midsummer with the Acropolis Rally in Greece, but after that the calendar brings two of the year’s quickest gravel rallies.

In mid-July, Rally Estonia kicks things off, followed closely by the legendary Rally Finland at the turn of the month.

Pajari is clearly excited about the high-speed gravel double-header.

“Of course I’m looking forward to them. In some ways, they’re the highlights of the season – and just fun rallies overall,” Pajari said.

“It’s nice that we’re already approaching that point in the year. Time has flown by. I’m feeling really positive about those events,” he added.

Both Estonia and Finland should suit Pajari well. Like many Finnish drivers, he thrives on fast gravel roads – a style of rallying that plays to his strengths.

“Maybe there are just fewer variables in those rallies,” he reflected.

“You don’t usually get constant punctures and other such issues in those events. It’s more purely about performance. Quite often you really have to put the pedal to the metal, but they’re great fun,” Pajari previewed.

Rally Estonia will be held from 17–20 July, followed by Rally Finland from 31 July to 2 August.
