On Thursday, Hyundai released a video on social media revealing the new season car’s livery.
In the video, a car covered in mud is washed, and underneath it the team’s car with its new livery is revealed.
The change is quite bold, especially by Hyundai’s standards. Hyundai’s Rally1 car has looked very similar in terms of its livery for several years.

The most visible change has been made to the front of the car. The nose now features a generous amount of stylish black.
Otherwise, the car’s main colours remain unchanged. The car still features Hyundai’s familiar light blue and orange colours.
Hyundai heads into the new season with a revised driver line-up following the retirement of Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville and Adrien Fourmaux will continue to contest a full season, while Esapekka Lappi, Dani Sordo and Hayden Paddon will rotate in the team’s third car at selected World Rally Championship events.
Hyundai still has room for improvement. Toyota has dominated the World Rally Championship in recent years, so the Korean team faces plenty of pressure to succeed in the upcoming season.

The new World Rally Championship season begins in traditional fashion next week at the Monte Carlo Rally.
