Lancia will compete in the WRC2 category in 2026, and the team has confirmed two widely expected names.

Frenchman Yohan Rossel and Russian driver Nikolay Gryazin will represent Lancia in the WRC’s second tier next year. This season, Rossel competed with Citroën’s Rally2 car, while Gryazin drove Škoda Rally2 machinery.

Lancia will replace Citroën in WRC2 next year. Both marques are part of the Stellantis group. Lancia’s official drivers will be run by the French outfit PH Sport, which also operated Citroën’s WRC2 programme this season.

“Lancia’s return to world rallying is an important step, and we approach it with a strong sense of responsibility. Yohan and Nikolay bring distinct perspectives, a modern understanding of the sport, and the right attitude to grow alongside our project,” said Lancia CEO Roberta Zerbi.

“The Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale was created to compete at the highest level, and the work of the Lancia Corse HF team allows us to look at this new chapter with confidence and clarity. See you in Monte-Carlo in January.”

Lancia’s new Rally2 car and its team will make their official debut at the opening round of the 2026 season, Rally Monte Carlo.
