M-Sport Ford confirmed earlier this week that Sesks will compete in six WRC events this year, driving a Ford Puma Rally1 car in the championship’s top class. Sesks will kick off his season at Rally Sweden in February.

Sesks made a sensational entrance into the WRC last summer, leaving a lasting impression with his performances, particularly in Poland and Latvia. Now, with additional financial backing, he’ll compete in nearly half of the season’s rallies.

It’s possible that Sesks’ programme could expand to include one more WRC event.

“Our goal is to add one more event with the Puma to our current list, the rally in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, we will be actively working throughout the season to secure the financial support necessary to make this goal a reality,” Sesks revealed.

Last year, Sesks competed in three WRC rallies with the Puma, including an appearance in Rally Chile in the autumn. The gravel event was completely new to him, and he faced significant challenges throughout the weekend.

This season, the Latvian driver will gain even more new experiences, and he intends to make the most of his opportunity.

“As we look ahead to the 2025 season, we anticipate many new challenges, but we are more motivated than ever and ready to learn, all while bringing joy to our fans. The chance to compete half of the 2025 WRC season promises to deliver invaluable experience for the years to come,” Sesks emphasised.

M-Sport Ford team principal Richard Millener also highlighted the learning curve Sesks will face this year.

“Chile was a reminder that it won’t all be plain sailing, but I know that the speed he has shown, plus his determination and character, will make him a fantastic addition to our 2025 line-up,” Millener stated.
