For this event, Sesks’ Ford Puma Rally1 will feature a brand-new look. The updated livery proudly showcases the colours of the Latvian flag.
“With the new car design, we want to bring more strength into this season,” said the Latvian rising star.
Sesks made his top-tier WRC debut last summer in the gravel events of Poland and Latvia, immediately turning heads with his speed. This year, he has contested four WRC rounds as an M-Sport Ford driver but has yet to fully hit his stride – especially in the slower gravel rallies earlier in the summer.

But the fast roads of Rally Estonia should suit him much better.
“We enjoy the Estonian roads, but everyone will be fast there, and as we take on this rally for the first time in a Rally1 car, one thing is clear – it will be a high-speed event, but not an easy one,” Sesks said.
“It will demand maximum focus and mutual trust between us and the car, and it will be another valuable step in this learning season in the Rally1 category with M-Sport Ford.”
For Sesks, the rally is practically a home event, with a large crowd of Latvian fans expected to turn up along the stages near Tartu.
“I’m really looking forward to having those home-crowed emotions again – it really is one of the most valuable things you can have. Of course I’m also looking forward to the rally itself and to being back on fast gravel,” said Sesks.
The Rally Estonia shakedown takes place on Thursday morning, while the competition officially kicks off in the evening with a spectator stage in Tartu.
