A total of 92 driver-co-driver pairs applied, but only 70 were selected. The starting grid will feature 10 Rally1 cars and as many as 39 Rally2 entries. Additionally, there will be 13 Rally3 cars, 14 Rally4 cars, and 12 Rally5 vehicles.
Toyota is joining with full power, featuring Kalle Rovanperä, Sami Pajari, Takamoto Katsuta, Elfyn Evans, and Sebastien Ogier, who is chasing his 10th win in his home rally.
Hyundai’s Rally1 entries include Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, and Adrien Fourmaux. The Rally1 line-up is completed by M-Sport Ford’s Gregoire Munster and Joshua McErlean.
The entry list also confirms that Nikolay Gryazin, will compete this season in Toksport’s Skoda RS Fabia Rally2. Gryazin is among the favourites in the WRC2 category, alongside notable competitors like Oliver Solberg, who has switched to Toyota, and Citroen’s Yohan Rossel.
The legendary Rally Monte Carlo once again kicks off the WRC season. The event takes place in the Maritime Alps from 23–26 January, with its base in the city of Gap, while the start and finish will be held in Monaco.
