Last week, Tänak secured his first win of the season at the Acropolis Rally in Greece. After the event wrapped up, he flew by helicopter on Sunday evening to Finland, where he tested the Hyundai on Monday at the team’s testing grounds.

But that wasn’t all. While Tuesday and Wednesday gave Tänak a chance to focus on other matters, he was back in action on Thursday.

In less than a week, Tänak drove the Hyundai Rally1 car in three different countries – this time in his home country of Estonia, which will host the next WRC round in two weeks’ time.

Tänak will benefit from better preparation than most other WRC stars heading into Rally Estonia. In addition to his two test days, he’ll also take part in a local test rally in southern Estonia this coming weekend.

Toyota’s WRC team has also been testing this week ahead of Rally Estonia. On Thursday, Japanese driver Takamoto Katsuta took his turn behind the wheel.
