The Polish veteran recently tested the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 in Portugal, driving through the legendary Fafe special stage landscape.

The 46-year-old has been competing in the WRC since 2016. Initially driving a Ford, he spent the past six years behind the wheel of a Skoda. Now, it seems Kajetanowicz is set for a new challenge, likely starting the 2025 season with Toyota.

Kajetanowicz’s career-best achievement in the WRC is a second-place finish in the WRC2 category in 2019. This year, he placed fifth in the class standings. The Polish driver also boasts bronze and silver finishes in the WRC3 and WRC2 Open categories.

While Kajetanowicz is no longer among the fastest WRC2 drivers, he remains consistent and often secures strong results. He entered the WRC after excelling in the European Rally Championship, where he claimed back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016.

Toyota’s Rally2 car was launched at the beginning of 2024 and has already achieved success. Sami Pajari secured the WRC2 championship title driving the Toyota.
