Pajari has repeatedly emphasised that he is still on a learning journey. His first career outing at Kenya’s Safari Rally also followed this theme of gaining experience.

Pajari managed to bring the car to the finish in one piece in Kenya – which, given the conditions, is already an achievement in itself. Thanks to others’ misfortunes and retirements, Pajari ended up an impressive fourth overall.

At times, the Finn also showed quite a decent pace. He was able to manage his speed sensibly, avoiding any major mistakes throughout the weekend. As a result, the car stayed intact all the way to the finish.

After Kenya, Pajari underlined once again how much he had learned. It’s like putting money into the bank for the future.

“It’s about the experience and the amount of data we can get from this. This event is still about learning,” Pajari confirmed.

Safari Rally is very familiar to many of the current top-class drivers, but Pajari had to get to grips with the challenging event from practically a zero starting point.

“If you compare it to most of the others, they’ve done this rally for, I don’t know, the last five years basically,” Pajari pointed out.

“So compared to them, it’s not so easy to match the pace immediately. But we’re getting there,” said Pajari.
