Last week, Toyota and Hyundai were hard at work in the French Alps, where their drivers fine-tuned their setups for Rally Monte Carlo.
M-Sport Ford kicked off their testing programme on Sunday. First up was Gregoire Munster, who will serve as the team’s lead driver this year.
Munster completed his test day under sunny skies. The road was completely dry as the Luxembourger drove the Ford Puma Rally1 car from one end of the test stage to the other.

This year, M-Sport Ford’s second driver is Josh McErlean, who will make his debut in the WRC’s top class at Rally Monte Carlo. McErlean is set to test the Ford Puma on Monday in France.
M-Sport clearly has the most inexperienced line-up among the WRC teams. While Hyundai and Toyota each boast two world champions on their rosters, M-Sport’s lead driver Munster has completed just one full season in the top class.
Rally Monte Carlo takes place next week from 23–26 January.
