Dani Sordo is among the most experienced drivers in the World Rally Championship (WRC). His first victory came in 2013 on the asphalt of Germany.
Sordo began his motorsport career in motocross at the age of 12 but switched to rallying at 16. He won the Junior World Championship in 2005, which marked the start of his career in the WRC.
In the 2019 season, Sordo achieved his second career victory, nearly six years after his first win. He clinched victory at Rally Sardinia after Ott Tänak encountered technical difficulties on the final special stage.
In recent years, the Spanish veteran has competed on a partial rally schedule. In 2020, Sordo shared Hyundai’s third WRC car with Sebastien Loeb. The year 2020 Sordo compete three WRC events.
