Rally Estonia returns to the WRC calendar after a one-year break. Over the years, the event has become a favourite among drivers – and for good reason.
Estonia’s gravel roads provide an incredible experience for both drivers and spectators – full of speed and dramatic moments.
“Rally Estonia is a firm favourite, and it’s easy to see why,” said M-Sport team principal Richard Millener.
“For competitors and spectators alike, everything is always exceptionally well organised. The team at Rally Estonia really are amongst some of the best in the world, and they always deliver a fantastic event and a great spectacle for rallying on the world stage,” Millener continued.
The atmosphere ahead of the upcoming rally weekend is filled with anticipation, and all four M-Sport driver duos are excited to tackle the challenging gravel roads.
“We always look forward to this one, and all four of our crews are eager to get out on the stages. Grég (Gregoire Munster) and Josh (McErlean) have both shown a lot of progress this year, particularly on gravel, and they’re keen to continue that this week,” Millener previewed.
In addition to Munster and McErlean, M-Sport’s line-up includes Latvian Martins Sesks and Estonian hopeful Romet Jürgenson, who competes in the WRC2 category.
“For Mārtiņš and Romet especially this will really feel like a home event, and I hope they can both draw confidence from the huge support they’ll receive from the Latvian and Estonian fans,” Millener said.
“They’ve both proven competitive on these roads, but the most important thing is that they go out there and enjoy it.”
Rally Estonia begins on Thursday and concludes on Sunday.
