Nikolay Gryazin has competed in the last seasons with Skoda’s Rally2 equipment in the WRC2 class. This year, the Russian driver finished fourth in the WRC2 final standings driving a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 car serviced by the Toksport team.

Next year, however, Gryazin will switch to Citroen’s wheel. He will compete with a Citroen C3 Rally2 car in the upcoming weekend’s Rally Hivernal in Dévoluy.

Citroen has confirmed that the Belgian team DG Sport will be responsible for Citroen’s WRC2 program. Gryazin and Yohan Rossel will act as the team’s drivers for the 2024 season.

French driver Rossel is also participating in the Winter Rally of Dévoluy with Citroen. Rossel finished third in this year’s WRC2 class, driving equipment maintained by the French team PH Sport.

The start list for this weekend’s asphalt race also includes a third interesting name, Georg Linnamäe. The Estonian will start the event with Skoda’s latest Rally2 car. In the concluded WRC season, Linnamäe competed with Hyundai’s Rally2 car.

Toyota’s new Rally2 car is coming to the WRC next season and will also be seen in the Winter Rally of Dévoluy. Toyota has not yet confirmed who will drive the car as the so-called zero car in this weekend’s round.

Options include either the team’s test driver Juho Hänninen or Sami Pajari, who is expected to compete in the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 car in next season’s World Rally Championship.

The Rally Hivernal in Dévoluy will feature a total of ten special stages on Saturday and Sunday.
