Behind the news at RallyJournal, you’ll find two rally journalists, Toni and Aki. We’re based in the heart of rally, Finland, almost neighbours to the Toyota Gazoo Racing factory team in Jyväskylä.
Our passion for rally stems from childhood when we, as little boys, admired the local rally hero Juha Kankkunen at the Thousand Lakes Rally. Based on this passion, we founded the Finnish-language rally news website Rallit.fi in 2017. The site is now the leading rally-focused news site in Finland. Now, we’re doing all this in English as well, which is why we’ve also launched RallyJournal.com.
On our site, you’ll find the latest rally news from around the world as we travel to report on events in the World Rally Championship and beyond. Our news features insights from top rally drivers and influential figures in the sport.
Over the years, our news team has grown, and more passionate professionals have joined the editorial team. In addition to news written by Toni and Aki, you can also read the day’s hottest rally news from the pens of Ville, Antti, Pentti-Oskari, and Laura.
