Behind RallyJournal.com are two long-time rally journalists, Toni and Aki. We are based in the heart of rallying in Finland, just a few kilometres from the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT factory in Jyväskylä.
Our passion for the sport began in childhood, when we stood along the stages of the Thousand Lakes Rally watching our local hero Juha Kankkunen fly past. That early fascination eventually led us to establish Rallit.fi in 2017. Today, it is the leading rally-focused news site in Finland. As our audience grew internationally, we launched RallyJournal.com to bring our coverage to English-speaking rally fans as well.
Here on RallyJournal.com you’ll find the latest rally news from around the world. We follow the World Rally Championship and other major rally series closely, travelling to events and reporting directly from the stages. Our articles feature insights from top drivers, team principals and key figures across the sport.
Over the years our editorial team has expanded, and several passionate professionals have joined us. In addition to stories written by Toni and Aki, you’ll also find rally news from Ville, Antti, Pentti-Oskari and Laura.
