Local rally driver Samman Singh Vohra provided an early spectacle for the audience at the beginning of the event. Singh Vohra entered a corner too fast, went wide, and then became a passenger in his own car.
The Skoda Fabia Rally2 evo car rolled a couple of times before coming to a stop on its wheels beside the stage.
Singh Vohra and his co-driver, Alfir Khan, did not sustain any major injuries from the incident. They eventually managed to finish the stage, but they lost over seven minutes.
