A total of 62 crews are set to compete, including 12 top-tier Rally1 cars. The field also features 26 Rally2 vehicles and 23 Rally3 cars, making for an exciting lineup.

It’s not often that 12 Rally1 cars appear at a WRC event. Toyota is fielding a formidable team, including Kalle Rovanperä, Elfyn Evans, Sami Pajari, and Takamoto Katsuta. Hyundai has its usual trio of Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, and Adrien Fourmaux driving the i20 N Rally1. Meanwhile, privateer team M-Sport Ford will be present with four crews. Alongside regular drivers Joshua McErlean and Gregoire Munster, Martins Sesks, Lorenzo Bertelli, and Jourdan Serderidis will also take to the stages.

The WRC2 class promises a fierce battle for the top step of the podium. Home favorite Oliver Solberg, who switched to Toyota machinery this season, is a key contender. His victory aspirations will be challenged by Estonians Georg Linnamäe and Robert Virves, as well as fellow Swedes Isak Reiersen and seasoned competitor Pontus Tidemand. Finnish competitors Roope Korhonen, Lauri Joona, Mikko Heikkilä, and rising talent Tuukka Kauppinen are also among the entries.

Rally Sweden also marks the opening round of the WRC Junior Championship. Notable entries in this category include Taylor Gill, Diego Dominguez, Max Smart, and Eamonn Kelly.

When it comes to nationalities, Finland boasts the largest representation, with nine Finnish drivers taking part. Rally3 cars will be piloted by Jooa Iivari, Leevi Lassila, and Ville Vatanen in Renaults. There are seven French competitors, while Sweden, Japan, and Estonia each have five representatives.

Rally Sweden will take place around Umeå from February 13 to 16. You can check the full entry list here.
