Pajari will compete in the upcoming season with a full campaign in the top tier of the World Rally Championship, driving for Toyota. The Finn already showcased strong performances with a Rally1 car last season, which has now been rewarded in the best possible way.
The rookie finds himself in esteemed company. His teammates at Toyota include two-time world champion Kalle Rovanperä, Elfyn Evans, Takamoto Katsuta, and eight-time world champion Sébastien Ogier.
Pajari has the chance to learn from the best in the sport, but he also emphasises that his teammates are much more than just exceptional rally drivers.
“It’s really great to be in the same team with them. They’ve achieved some pretty amazing things,” Pajari said.
“They’re, of course, legends of the sport, but also really great and helpful people. It’s been fantastic to see that I’ve received a lot of support from everyone in this team. I already got a glimpse of that last year when I shared a test day with Seb,” Pajari highlighted.
Pajari is delighted with the incredible opportunity and the great teammates he has. However, on the rally stages, his focus is elsewhere.
“It’s definitely a cool thing, but sometimes you don’t even think about it. Once you put the helmet on and get out there, you tend to forget about it,” Pajari laughed.
