Last season, Kajetanowicz clinched the WRC2 Challenger class title, but the WRC2 title still eludes him. In 2022, he was in the championship fight until the final round but ultimately had to settle for third place.
This week, Kajetanowicz confirmed that he will start his WRC2 season at Safari Rally, scheduled for the end of March. He also unveiled the livery for his Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 car.
“I am planning to contest seven rounds in total. Last year we had the same amount of chances, using them in a great way, winning the WRC2 Challenger title,” Kajetanowicz states on the WRC website.
“Although I assured everyone that this success would not change me, the truth is that I feel that my motivation is two times stronger than before,” adds the 44-year-old Polish driver.
Kajetanowicz’s programme includes, in addition to Safari Rally, asphalt events in Croatia, Central Europe, and Japan. On gravel, he is very likely to compete in his home event in Poland at the end of June.
“I have never trained so hard because I know that without hard work it would not be possible to build another bridge between dreams and reality,” Kajetanowicz elaborates.
