The Hyundai N x Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival will be held on October 27 at Everland Speedway in South Korea. Both manufacturers will present, among other things, their World Rally Championship cars, which will be driven by top team drivers.

Hyundai will showcase its i20 N Rally1 and i20 N Rally2 cars on the iconic track, driven by factory team members Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo, and Andreas Mikkelsen.

Toyota’s GR Yaris Rally1 and GR Yaris Rally2 cars will be driven by factory team driver Takamoto Katsuta, team principal Jari-Matti Latvala, and Takamoto’s father, Norihiko Katsuta, a multiple-time champion in the Japanese rally series.

Hyundai Motor Group’s Executive Chairman Euisun Chung and his Toyota counterpart, Akio Toyoda, will also attend the event.

Both manufacturers will also display other models and concept cars on the track.

“We are excited to welcome the Toyota Gazoo Racing team, our competitors in the WRC, to Korea. This event will emphasize the fierce competition and friendship that coexist in motorsport and is an opportunity to demonstrate the pure passion for cars shared by both Hyundai and Toyota, as well as our commitment to further expand motorsport culture in the future,” said Yeongho Lee, Hyundai Motor Company’s Executive Vice President of Global Operations Division.

Hyundai and Toyota will face off again on the special stages of the World Rally Championship next week, competing for points in the Central European Rally.
