Rovanperä, 24, spent the weekend celebrating Halloween with his friends and made a striking impression with his choice of costume.
In the photo, Rovanperä and his companions are seen posing in a sauna, with Rovanperä dressed as a professional wrestler. His wrestling outfit is emblazoned with the words “Wrestling Champ.”
The costume takes inspiration from the famous American professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, who famously wore red and yellow attire during his career.
Rovanperä’s co-driver, Jonne Halttunen, also embraced the Halloween theme. He dressed up as Slash, the British-American musician, actor, songwriter, and music and film producer, best known as the lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses.
The World Rally Championship (WRC) series has also shared Halloween-themed content on its social media channels. You can view the images below this article.
This season, Rovanperä and Halttunen have only participated in a partial WRC campaign. Additionally, Rovanperä has competed in drifting events and the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux series. Next season, Rovanperä and Halttunen will return to full-time participation in the WRC.
Rovanperä will not compete in the WRC again this season. Toyota team principal Jari-Matti Latvala has already confirmed that Rovanperä will not be seen in the upcoming Rally Japan at the end of the month.
