Australia was set to host the season’s final races at the turn of November and December. The championship’s promoter has announced that it is still working with local race organisers to include Australia in the series for the 2025 season.

The original calendar for this season included five race weekends, with plans to add another round in Asia. The promoter has now confirmed that a race will be held in Asia in the fall, but the number of race weekends will remain at five.

The season finale will take place in China on October 19-20. This means the season will end one and a half months earlier than planned. The entire season will span just over three months.

The exact location of the Chinese round is yet to be announced. The promoter intends to provide more information later.

The World Rallycross season began just over a week ago in Sweden, where the sport’s multiple world champion Johan Kristoffersson took two wins. Finland’s Niclas Grönholm is currently in second place in the standings.

The next rounds of the season will be held in Hungary at the end of July.
