Poland is making a return to the WRC this season after a seven-year hiatus. The fast gravel rally will be based in Mikołajki, where a total of 19 special stages and 304 kilometers will be run.

After being dropped from the WRC calendar following the 2017 season, Poland has since been a part of the European Rally Championship. For this year’s WRC event, organizers have significantly revamped the route; only one special stage is exactly the same as the one from the 2023 European rally.

The rally kicks off on June 27th with a shakedown, opening ceremonies in downtown Mikołajki, and the rally-starting Mikołajki Arena, a 2.5-kilometer spectator stage. This spectator loop, located next to the rally headquarters, will be run three times over the course of the rally weekend.

Friday’s schedule includes the Stanczyki, Wieliczki, and Olecko stages, each to be run twice during the day. Stanczyk, albeit slightly altered, was part of the Rally Poland in 2015 and 2016. The Wieliczki stage, though familiar by name from last decade’s WRC events, has also undergone route modifications.

Saturday will be the longest day with a total of 124 special stage kilometers. The Swietajno, Goldap, and Czarne stages will be run in the morning and repeated in the afternoon after a service break.

The competition concludes on Sunday with the Gmina Mragowo and Mikołajki stages, both run twice. The rally-ending Mikołajki stage, on its second run, will serve as the Power Stage, spanning just over 11 kilometers.
