In 2025, Pajari will compete in a full WRC season with Toyota’s top-tier GR Yaris Rally1 car. This past season, the young driver participated in three WRC events in the top category. He impressed right away in Finland, finishing fourth. In Chile, he secured sixth place, but his campaign in the Central European Rally ended with a crash on the final day.
Pajari, however, clinched the WRC2 championship, solidifying his place in Toyota’s lineup. On Tuesday, the Finnish prospect got to experience the Rally1 car’s performance on snow as the team continued their winter testing programme. Thanks to timely snowfall over the weekend and early in the week, Toyota was able to test in conditions similar to their arch-rival Hyundai.
Pajari enjoyed ideal winter rallying conditions on Tuesday, with temperatures well below freezing and a generous amount of snow. While some gravel surfaced during testing due to the recent snowfall, it likely didn’t dampen Pajari’s enjoyment one bit.

Toyota began their testing on Monday, with Takamoto Katsuta taking the wheel. The Japanese driver faced a challenging 2024 WRC season, including being benched for the Rally Chile in September. However, his performance improved towards the end of the year, allowing him to retain his seat for 2025.
