Nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb will participate in the 12-hour race held in Mugello, Italy, from March 22 to 24. Loeb will compete alongside Romain Dumas and others in the Orchid Racing team.

Loeb will be driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in Tuscany. Similarly, Kalle Rovanperä, who has won the last two World Rally Championship titles, will also compete in a similar vehicle in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux series.

In addition to Loeb and Dumas, the Orchid Racing team in Mugello will include Swiss drivers Laurent Misbach, Loic Villiger, and Alexandre Mottet. A total of 38 teams have registered for the race.

Loeb, who recently turned 50, last competed in a World Rally Championship event in Greece in 2022, but that race ended in a technical failure. In the same year, he made history by winning the Monte Carlo Rally, becoming the oldest driver ever to win a World Rally Championship event.

In recent years, Loeb has focused particularly on endurance races in the rally scene. Throughout his career, he has also competed in the WTCR circuit racing series and the World Rallycross Championship.
