The nine-time World Rally Champion has been making only occasional appearances on special stages in recent years. This year, Loeb has participated in just one rally – a French national event in June, which ended in victory for the seasoned driver.
In just over two weeks, Loeb will be taking the wheel of a new rally car. The French ace is set to compete in the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine, part of the French tarmac rally series, driving an Alpine A110 GT+.
Loeb unveiled the car’s livery on Tuesday evening.
“Back to school means new gear,” Loeb joked.

Loeb will be competing in the event alongside his partner, Laurene Godey. The duo has entered five rallies together, winning four of them.
The Alpine rally car is owned by Frenchman Ludovic Godard, who acquired the car for his team earlier this year. Godard has secured two wins in the French Rally Cup with the Alpine.
Loeb, who turned 50 this year, stepped back from the World Rally Championship after the 2022 season. In recent years, he has focused on the World Rally-Raid Championship.
Next year, Loeb will take on the Dakar Rally as a driver for Dacia. The team is currently developing its Sandrider vehicle to tackle the grueling desert race, marking Dacia’s debut in the Dakar Rally.
