Pajari made an impressive debut in the WRC round in Finland at the beginning of August, finishing fourth behind the wheel of a Rally1 car. He will continue later this month in Chile, where he will drive a top-class rally car for the second time in his career. And that’s not all, Pajari will also drive Toyota’s factory car at the Central European WRC round in October.

Toyota’s decision to sideline Takamoto Katsuta for Chile and bring in Pajari instead has fueled speculation about next season’s line-up even further. While Katsuta might still continue with his home country’s car brand, Pajari’s stock has significantly risen.

Despite the promising situation, Pajari remains cool and composed.

“Of course, I hope to be part of the team next year and get to drive the Rally1 car more. It’s a dream that’s still alive,” Pajari says.

“That’s what we have been aiming for all along. It’s been great to see that even now, we’re receiving recognition and trust from the team’s side.”

While Pajari’s career has steadily risen toward the top since winning the WRC Junior Championship in 2021, the Finnish driver remains grounded.

“Being able to drive this car more often means a lot, and it keeps some hopes alive for driving even more in the future. Naturally, I hope for that, but it’s for other people to decide,” Pajari concludes.
