The teams and stars of the World Rally Championship competed against each other on Sunday at the iconic Monza circuit in Italy. The Monza Rally Show concluded with the Masters’ Show, where top-class drivers faced off head-to-head.

Among Hyundai’s drivers were newly crowned world champion Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo, while Toyota was represented by Sebastien Ogier and Sami Pajari. M-Sport’s Ford Puma was piloted by Fourmaux and Italian driver Massimo Pedretti.

The Masters’ Show featured a course set up on Monza’s main straight, with the drivers competing in paired heats, racing side by side.

After the initial heats, Fourmaux and his future Hyundai teammate Neuville secured spots in the Rally1 final, eliminating Ogier, Sordo, Pajari, and Pedretti along the way.

In the final, world champion Neuville couldn’t match Fourmaux’s pace. The Frenchman, who had already been the fastest in the earlier rounds, defeated the Belgian star by two seconds in the final.

“It was really good fun driving my last stage with the Puma,” Fourmaux said with delight.

Next year, Fourmaux will compete in a full season driving Hyundai’s third Rally1 car. This year, he made his breakthrough in the WRC’s top class, securing five podium finishes with M-Sport’s Ford Puma Rally1. Monza marked his last outing for M-Sport, and he will debut behind the wheel of a Hyundai this coming weekend in a national rally in France.

In the Masters’ Show Rally2 final, Italian driver Andrea Crugnola defeated Sami Pajari. Crugnola also celebrated victory earlier in the Monza Rally Show’s main rally event.
