Pirelli has served as the official tyre supplier for the WRC since 2021. From next season onwards, the championship will switch to tyres from South Korean manufacturer Hankook.

To mark the end of the current season, teams and WRC stars will head to Monza’s legendary circuit for the Monza Rally Show. Hyundai, M-Sport Ford, and Toyota will all bring their Rally1 cars and drivers to the event.

“We’ll be coming with a couple of toys and a couple of our drivers,” confirmed Hyundai team principal Cyril Abiteboul.

The Monza Rally Show will be held from 6–8 December. On Friday and Saturday, WRC teams will participate in demonstration runs around the circuit, but on Sunday, the action will heat up with a real competition – the Master Show.

Toyota team principal Jari-Matti Latvala is also set to take the wheel at Monza, getting a chance to enjoy some personal track time.

“I will be driving some of the cars myself. Driving is always fun, so I’m really looking forward to it,” Latvala said with a smile.

Monza hosted the final round of the WRC during the COVID-affected years of 2020 and 2021. Now, the WRC stars will return to this iconic venue.

“We are delighted to bring the World Rally Championship back to Monza, which we consider our home. For us, it will be an opportunity to look back at our time as sole supplier to the WRC, four successful years during which we learned a great deal. It will also be the occasion to say goodbye to the World Championship while reiterating that rallying is still an important activity for us,”commented Terenzio Testoni, Rally Activity Manager of Pirelli.

The Monza Rally and Monza Rally Show have a long history, dating back to the 1970s.
