Organizers of the Rallye Festival Hoznayo have confirmed that Grönholm will participate in the event from April 11th to 13th. The Hoznayo rally festival features a demonstration competition, with a total of nine special stages over two days.

The two-time World Rally Championship winner Grönholm will get to know a completely new vehicle in the race, as he will be driving a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. Serving as the Finnish legend’s co-driver will be the experienced Spaniard Borja Odriozola.

The organizers are excited in their press release about the Finnish star’s participation in the event. Grönholm, 56, is also pleased to be returning to action.

“I’m thrilled to join the Rallye Festival Hoznayo as a guest driver. I look forward to competing in this unique event and sharing my passion for rallying with the enthusiastic Spanish fans,” Grönholm describes.

“It will be an incredible experience to be surrounded by so much enthusiasm and energy.”

Grönholm is not the only Finnish participant in the event, as his relative Emil Lindholm and co-driver Reeta Hämäläinen are also on the list of registrants in a Hyundai i20 N Rally2 car. Lindholm and Hämäläinen will compete a week later in the WRC2 class of the Croatia Rally with a Hyundai.

This year, Grönholm will definitely participate in another demonstration event as well. The man from Finland will start in August at the Eifel Rallye Festival in Germany.
