This season, Estonia hosts a European Rally Championship event, but from next year, the rally will once again be part of the World Rally Championship calendar after a one-year hiatus.

This week, the organisation behind the Rally Estonia announced a significant new partnership. Starting this year, the rally will collaborate with the betting company Unibet.

Unibet will be one of the main sponsors of the event in 2024 and 2025.

Unibet is also collaborating with Finnish champion Kalle Rovanperä, and Unibet will have a substantial presence at the event next year when Rovanperä competes in the full World Rally Championship season and takes part in the high-speed gravel race.

Ergo Maruste, the CEO of Unibet Estonia, expressed excitement about the new partnership.

“Unibet was diagnosed with a benign rally bug a long time ago, and for example, we have long been sponsors of Kalle Rovanperä, the youngest rally world champion in history. It is even better that from now on we can also participate in the organization of the region’s hottest rally party, Rally Estonia,”Maruste said in a statement.

“With the addition of Unibet to our circle of main sponsors, we gain an international dimension. On our part, we offer them a good platform and help with the implementation of ambitious marketing plans both before and during the rally. Together with Unibet, we can add more motor sports to the sports betting and introduce this exciting and adrenaline-filled sport to their customers,” said Janno Siitan, CEO of the ERC Rally Estonia.

The Estonian European Rally Championship event will be held this year from July 5 to 7.
