Yohan Rossel competed in his first WRC rally in France in 2014. In the 2020 season, Rossel competed seriously for WRC points for the first time, and the following season, in 2021, the Frenchman proved his mettle by winning the WRC3 class championship.
In the 2022 season, Rossel entered seven rounds, achieving WRC2 class victories in Croatia and Portugal. The Frenchman finished the season in fourth place overall.
The year 2023 was the best in Rossel’s career. The French driver was strongest in tarmac events, with victories coming in Monte Carlo and Croatia. Rossel was in contention for the championship heading into the Central European Rally, but his competition ended with a retirement on the third special stage, dashing his championship aspirations. At the end of the season, the Frenchman stood third.
