During October’s Central European Rally, the championship promoter randomly assigned each top-tier driver a colleague for whom they had to buy a Christmas gift. The WRC stars received their “Secret Santa” gifts during the season finale in Japan in November.

Now, the WRC promoter has shared a video on social media revealing what gifts the drivers received and who gave them. For instance, Sami Pajari was gifted a champagne bottle with his name on it by Hyundai star Ott Tänak. Meanwhile, Adrien Fourmaux received a humorous hoodie from Toyota’s Takamoto Katsuta.

Tänak’s NERF gun and related targets, given by M-Sport Ford’s Gregoire Munster, also caused plenty of amusement.

The WRC stars are currently enjoying a well-earned, albeit short, Christmas break. The new season kicks off in late January with the Rally Monte Carlo. Before the iconic event, teams will also conduct tests in France to prepare for the season opener.

The 2025 WRC season opener, the Rally Monte Carlo, will take place from 23–26 January
