Fourmaux started the Rally de Portugal tests on Saturday. He has posted video footage of his tests on social media.

“Another day at the office,” Fourmaux captioned the video on the messaging service X.

Fourmaux has had an impressive season so far and is currently third in the drivers’ championship standings.

The Frenchman achieved his first podium finish at the Rally Sweden in February and quickly followed it up with another in Kenya.

During the Croatia Rally held in April, Fourmaux was in fifth place for most of the event but made a driving error on the final day, Sunday, colliding with a chicane barrier, which damaged the suspension of the car’s front wheel.

The repair cost him considerable time, causing him to lose his strong overall position in the rally, but he still managed to score valuable points by winning the Power Stage on Sunday.

Last year, Fourmaux competed in the Rally2 car in Portugal, finishing 15th overall and 10th in his class. M-Sport Ford has significantly improved their car over the season, and Fourmaux is naturally hoping for a better result in Portugal and to continue his successful season.

“I’m really happy because we have come really far with the car since Monte Carlo,” Fourmaux told Autosport.
